The Learning Hive Academy
A Registered Private School
Every parent wants the best for their child - we’re here to provide it.
You believe in education that is personal, flexible, and meaningful; an approach that truly meets your child where they are.
But let’s be honest - every child has unique needs, and those aren’t always easy to meet.
Maybe your child thrives in hands-on experiences but needs more opportunities to collaborate with peers. Maybe they love science or art, but reading or math sometimes leads to frustration. Maybe they’re craving a learning environment that offers both structure and space to grow at their own pace.
That’s where The Learning Hive Academy comes in. As a registered private school, we combine research-backed academics with an individualized approach, giving each student the kind of focused attention that isn’t always possible in larger school settings.
A Perfect Blend of Structure, Exploration & Social Connection
The Learning Hive Academy is designed to give children an education that is both rigorous and nurturing, with:
Engaging, hands-on learning that makes concepts meaningful and memorable
Small group classes led by experienced educators who adapt instruction to diverse learning styles
A warm, collaborative environment where students build friendships, teamwork skills, and confidence
A rich variety of subjects and electives that expand beyond core academics to nurture creativity, curiosity, and real-world skills
Your child will explore, create, and grow, all while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills - without the rigid structure of a traditional school setting.
What We Offer
At The Learning Hive Academy, we blend academics, creativity, and social connection in a way that honours each child’s unique pace and learning style.
Designed for children ages 4 to 12, our Academy provides a structured yet flexible environment where students build strong foundations, explore new concepts, and make meaningful progress - without the one-size-fits-all pressures of a traditional classroom.
Our child-centred approach ensures that every learner is supported in:
Literacy, Language Arts & Mathematics – A structured literacy approach rooted in the Science of Reading builds strong reading and writing skills, while multi-sensory, evidence-based math instruction develops deep understanding and lasting confidence in mathematical thinking.
Hands-On Learning – Interactive lessons, small-group collaboration, and multi-sensory activities keep students engaged, curious, and inspired.
Individualized Progress – Low student to educator ratios allow our teachers to adapt instruction so every student can move forward from their own starting point.
Social & Academic Growth – A safe, inclusive school community where children build friendships, practice teamwork, and develop a love of learning.
Enrichment Opportunities – Afternoon electives such as Drama, Life Skills, Science, French, and History give students the chance to extend their learning and explore new interests, with supervised lunch and social time in between.
Flexible Enrolment – Families may choose full-time or part-time options, making The Learning Hive Academy accessible while still maintaining the structure and benefits of a private school setting.
