Academy Supply List

The Learning Hive requires parents to provide their children with basic school supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and other essentials. Please ensure all supplies are labelled (where possible). Below is the recommended supply list:

  • Backpack

  • Lunchbox with an ice pack

  • Water bottle

  • Indoor shoes or slippers (optional, sock feet are welcomed)

  • 1 x 1.5” three ring binder

  • 1 x package of dividers (minimum 4 dividers)

  • 1 x package of pencils (pre-sharpened)

  • 2 x erasers

  • 4 x glue sticks (ages 5 and under) or 2 x glue sticks (ages 6+)

  • 1 x package of crayons (ages 5 and under) or coloured pencils (ages 6+)

  • 1 x package of thick markers (ages 5 and under) or preferred markers (6+)

  • 4 x highlighters (ages 6+)

  • 1 pencil case (that fits all writing and colouring tools)

These supplies are essential for your child’s daily activities and will remain at The Learning Hive to ensure they are always prepared (excluding backpack, lunch box and water bottles, of course).

Cold Weather Add-On (October–March):

  • Warm coat suitable for outdoor play

  • Hat, mittens, and neck warmer (no scarves, please)

  • Waterproof boots and snow pants

  • Extra pair of socks (to keep at school for wet days)
