Participant Support Policy

The Learning Hive welcomes children with a wide range of abilities and support needs. To help us provide a safe experience, families must disclose any medical, developmental, behavioural, emotional, sensory, communication, or learning needs that may affect their child's participation in our programs.

If your child requires additional support, please contact us before registering. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your child's individual needs and determine whether the program is an appropriate fit.

Our programs operate within established staffing models and are designed for children who can participate safely in the program. While we will consider reasonable accommodations where possible, participation depends on our ability to safely meet each participant's needs while maintaining the safety and well-being of all participants and staff.

Admission decisions are based on the information provided during registration, as well as our observations throughout participation in the program. If a participant's support needs differ significantly from the information provided during registration, or if we determine that we are unable to safely meet those needs within the structure of our program, The Learning Hive reserves the right to decline registration or discontinue participation.

All participants must be independently toileting.
