Ages 4–12 | March 16–20, 2026 | 1295 Dundas Street, Woodstock

Get ready for an unforgettable journey around our incredible planet.
This March Break, The Learning Hive invites young explorers to join Expedition Earth - a week-long adventure celebrating the wonders of our world through hands-on learning, art, science, and discovery.

Each day, campers will “travel” to a new destination, exploring geography, culture, wildlife, and creativity in ways that make learning come alive. Our program blends curiosity-driven exploration with the structured, evidence-based teaching families know and trust from The Learning Hive.

What to Expect

Every day features a thoughtful balance of guided learning, creative projects, and free exploration, designed to build curiosity, confidence, and connection.

Explorers of the Week:
Jacques Cousteau – Oceans
Ernest Shackleton – Polar Survival
Jane Goodall – Forests
Amelia Earhart – Skies
Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay – Mountains

Each theme inspires art, science, and STEM-based challenges connected to that explorer’s world - helping children see themselves as capable, curious learners ready to take on any adventure.

Why Families Love The Learning Hive

At The Learning Hive, we believe learning should feel like belonging. Our programs combine academic enrichment with hands-on fun, helping children build real-world knowledge while exploring what makes our planet so extraordinary.

Whether your child loves animals, art, science, or adventure, they’ll find something to love at Expedition Earth—and memories that last long after the week ends.

A Day at Expedition Earth

Every day follows a gentle rhythm that balances structure and creativity.

Children begin their mornings with arrival games and icebreakers tied to the day’s explorer and theme. From there, we dive into storytelling and hands-on challenges - projects and challenges that bring each adventure to life.

Mid-morning includes a snack and movement break, followed by another hands-on exploration or creative challenge. After lunch, the pace lightens with outdoor play, playful science, or drama-based activities that build collaboration and confidence.

Each day ends with reflection and journaling (complete with “passport stamps” to record their travels) before a closing group game and pickup.
