Please Note: There will be no lesson March 19 - consider joining us for our March Break Camp!

Our Science class invites children to investigate, experiment, and explore the world around them through hands-on discovery. Each 75-minute session encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific thinking in a calm, supportive environment.

Primary Learners

Younger learners explore how the world works through simple, engaging experiments. Activities may include testing motion, light, and sound; observing plants and animals; making predictions; and learning how to record what they see. The focus is on building confidence, noticing details, and developing early inquiry skills.

Junior Learners

Older learners engage in more independent inquiry, designing experiments, testing variables, and using real tools to collect and analyze data. Units may explore matter, energy, ecosystems, and environmental change, helping students connect scientific ideas to the world around them.

Each class includes:

  • Hands-on experiments and investigations

  • Clear routines for observation and recording

  • Meaningful questions and guided inquiry

  • Opportunities to collaborate, test ideas, and explore real-world science

This class nurtures curiosity and confidence, helping children understand science not just as a subject, but as a way of thinking and exploring the world.
