Leadership | Mondays at 2:20pm
January 5 to June 15
Please note: There will be no lessons February 16 (Family Day), March 16 (March break - consider our camp!), April 6 (Easter), and May 18 (Victoria Day)
Our Leadership class helps children understand what it means to lead with empathy, responsibility, and teamwork. At The Learning Hive, leadership is not about authority. It is about care, communication, and making a positive impact within a community.
Through games, role play, problem solving, and hands-on projects, students learn to express themselves clearly, collaborate kindly, and support others in meaningful ways.
Primary Learners
Young learners practice taking initiative and working together through group games, helping roles, and simple community projects. Activities focus on cooperation, kindness, and building the confidence to contribute.
Junior Learners
Older learners deepen their leadership skills through collaborative challenges, planning tasks, goal setting, and guided reflection. They learn to communicate effectively, solve problems thoughtfully, and be a positive influence while supporting younger peers with confidence and care.
Each class includes:
Team building and communication activities
Role play and leadership practice
Hands-on projects connected to community
Opportunities for initiative, responsibility, and reflection
A warm, encouraging environment that strengthens confidence
This class helps children understand themselves as thoughtful, capable leaders who can collaborate, care for others, and make meaningful contributions at home, at school, and in their community.
