WINTER Preschool Prep Level 1 Mondays at 9:30am
Winter Session: January 12 to March 30
(10 weeks, skipping February 16 for Family Day weekend and March 16 for March Break)
Preschool Prep Level 1is a gentle, one-hour weekly class designed to help young children build early literacy, numeracy, and fine motor foundations in a calm, playful environment. A caregiver attends with the child, offering comfort and support while we introduce early school routines, circle time, guided activities, and hands-on learning.
Each week includes:
Early phonological awareness
Letter, sound, and vocabulary exploration
Fine motor strengthening (pre-writing, scissor skills, manipulatives)
Number sense and simple math concepts
Songs, stories, and movement
Time to build confidence in a small, supportive group
At the end of the term, caregivers receive a brief progress summary outlining their child’s strengths and readiness for Level 2, where children attend independently. After Level 2, families may progress to Kindergarten Prep as the next step toward school readiness.
A minimum of six registrants is required for the class to run.
